History

Observing the need for more suppliers dedicated to the freight Transportation service, a certified public accountant (CPA), a Mexican customs broker (AA MX) and a US customs broker (USCHB), with more than 25 years of experience in their respective fields, are motivated to form a strategic alliance and invest in the creation of a freight Transportation company for the United States market. Thus was the inception of Global Link Carriers, LLC in 2018.

Certifications

It is an anti-terrorist initiative of the US Customs of the United States of North America that obliges companies to take measures in order to prevent commercial cargo from being contaminated with illegal or undisclosed substances, such as weapons, drugs or explosives.

The procedures proposed by C-TPAT respond to a historical situation that changed the security parameters at a global level: the September 11 attacks and have the objective of safeguarding the entire distribution chain, thus preventing international trade movements from serving as tool to terrorism and illegal trafficking. Our company, Global Link Carriers, LLC, is CT-PAT Certified.

It is a program of the Mexican government that seeks to strengthen security in the logistics chain of foreign trade, in coordination with the private sector, establishing internationally recognized minimum security standards, granting tax and / or customs benefits to participating companies.

Companies that wish to belong to the OEA program must meet certain requirements, which can be grouped into three main areas: Tax, customs and security.

The accreditation certifies compliance with certain measures and / or standards related to security and good practices in the international supply chain of goods.

Our company is always seeking that its sister companies and their commercial partners have the CT-PAT and / or OEA Certification in order to ensure compliance with the safety standard at every link of the supply chain

Maintenance Policy and Safety Standards

Our company implemented its critical processes, in terms of Maintenance and Security, in a systematic and automated way through our operating systems which interact each other on a comprehensive manner.

Maintenance

• In our operating systems, a SCHEDULE/PROGRAM of Preventive Maintenance per mile is captured for each transportation truck, which allows notifications to Operators and Dispatch Personnel of upcoming required maintenance.

• Maintenance, for each transportation truck and / or trailer, is carried out through a WORK ORDER creating history and records of evidence.

• A team of specialists is in charge of each Maintenance of our transportation trucks and trailers.

Compliance with security standards

• Renewal Program for our fleet of transportation trucks once they have completed a certain time of use and / or miles traveled.

• Physical mechanical inspection, prior to each trip, of both transportation trucks and trailers.

• Compliance with government Safety Regulations for hiring Operators. We also require a strict profile and sufficient experience to hire our operators.

• Randomly applying anti-doping and medical tests to Operators leaving a record and keeping their file updated.

• Training program for Operators about Safety Regulations required by the government.

• Registration and audit on "Operators Logs" of each trip to ensure compliance with Government Safety Regulations.

• Record of incidents during the trips.

• Our operating systems have the necessary REPORTS to carry out an adequate control and compliance with the Government Safety Regulations.
